The teaching
Moshe waited forty years to rebuke Israel. Forty years — holding the words until the moment could receive them.
Rashi teaches that in Devarim, Moshe spoke in hints, protecting dignity. Rebuke as an act of love, not dominance.
In push hands, we train listening energy. You place your hand on your partner's arm and feel before you move. You never force against resistance. You find the opening.
Moshe didn't strike with truth. He waited until truth could land softly.
Before you correct someone — pause. Place your hand gently on the moment. Feel whether it's ready to receive you.
