The teaching
Korach wanted to rise — so the earth swallowed him whole.
In tai chi we call it song — a softening downward. You release your weight through soft knees into the ground, and from that root, real power rises. Push upward without foundation and you're top-heavy. Unstable.
Korach grasped for honor, puffed himself higher — and there was nothing beneath him. No root. No ground.
Aharon's staff didn't bloom because he reached for it. It bloomed because he was planted in service.
Drop your shoulders. Soften your knees. Sink.
Real rising begins there.
