The teaching
God doesn't need a house.
Yet Shemot devotes hundreds of verses to every beam, socket, and curtain hook of the Mishkan. Why such detail? Because the Torah says: build Me a sanctuary and I will dwell in them. Not in it — in them. The structure exists to awaken something inside the people.
In Tai Chi, structure serves the same purpose. Not rigidity, not collapse — relaxed, rooted presence. Your spine is the central pole. Your breath, rising incense. Your focused intent, the menorah's steady flame.
Stand now. Root your feet. Three slow breaths.
You're not preparing to practice. You're already building.
